I heard on the radio during the week that there was a man in the news a while ago who was pregnant. Apparently he had all the ... things of a woman inside, but was a man otherwise. I can't remember where in the world they said it was, but the same person had to have triplets removed a couple of years earlier because of medical reasons. I think that's just strange.

I heard it on Metro Radio, which is the local radio station of Newcastle here in England. You can listen to it over the internet, though so you could hear it from the other side of the world.

I saw the Oprah show and the guy was really born a woman but had a sex change and became a "man". This really doesn't sit well with me at all. First of all, sorry, but in my opinion the man was really more like a woman. The only thing was he got a bit of a male aphendage due to all the hormones. All the other female reproductive organs were still in place. Next, yuck!!! A pregnant man? Thats just wrong. What is this child going to face growing up. I pity that child.

They would probably have to do a c-section because well, he couldn't push it out of any part of his body if you get my drift

Post 10 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Sunday, 15-Jun-2008 11:15:01

Yeah, I was just going to say that, and to think of a man trying to push out a baby is just...disturbing!

Post 14 by blw1978 (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Thursday, 19-Jun-2008 16:27:07

Hey, for those of you who missed the show, he was impregnated using some sperm and Get ready to laugh here; a turkey baster. His wife did the honors! I saw that movie Junior in high school and honestly, It was kind of funny, but it sort of creeped me out.

this "man" was not, and will never be a biological man. It is a woman to every degree but legally. I don't see what the big deal is about a womna becoming pregnant. That goes for you all that are saying that the kid is going to be screwed up. You're probably the same people that believe gays shouldn't adopt children. This really isn't a big deal at all, and it had the kid, so...

i meant to watch a Discovery Health program about this story, but i missed it. apparently, he endured natural childbirth. Absolutely disgusting, IMO. let's leave the birthing to us women, please.

Post 23 by SEPTEMBER-TWILIGHT (CAN I TALK? PLEASE?) on Friday, 19-Dec-2008 22:41:20

Post 24 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Wednesday, 31-Dec-2008 5:38:02

I watched a documentary about her/him on Monday or Tuesday and they said the person was originally a woman, but had sex changed to a man, which is what some people were saying earlier on this board, I think.

Post 25 by redgirl34 (Scottish) on Wednesday, 31-Dec-2008 8:06:03

Yes, that's rite. I haven't got a problem with people changing there cex but it does sound funny saying the pregnant man. But if he was a man before and now a woman then of course they will have the female things. But he stil had part mails things to.

Post 26 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Thursday, 01-Jan-2009 16:14:23

Okay, first off, is this man a woman with an enlarged clitoris? I mean, honestly, does this person produce sperm? If not, then this is a woman. You can't add a penis to a female, or a vagina to a male. I don't believe this is a man at all. I think it's a woman with an enlarged clitoris. It's impossible to change gender. You can try your best to look like the opposite sex, but at the end of the day, you produce sperm, or you once had a period. I mean, seriously, can a person changed their lineage or ethnicity? Nope! So it's impossible to truly change one's gender.

Post 27 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Sunday, 04-Jan-2009 12:14:44

It's possible to have all the operations in the world, but at the end of the day, he/she still has all the reproductive stuff of a woman and had to get the sperm from somewhere else. In that particularly state, the person had their breasts removed which appparently now makes them legally a man.
ps, sorry about the spspeling.

Post 28 by Icedearth (Zone BBS Addict) on Wednesday, 07-Jan-2009 15:52:55

Agreed with Digressive Distortion when it comes down to it whether you are a man or a woman is based on your genetics, not your physical body.

Post 29 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Sunday, 15-Mar-2009 13:06:55

That's true. Personally I don't agree with sex changes and other stuff around that, but everyone got their own idea.
